GREEN PROGRAM FOR FORESTRY
STOP CUTTING DOWN OF TREES WITHOUT PLANTING 10 MORE FOR EACH
Working for water in its present form stopped immediately.
Instead of pure deforestation, brushwood is removed to prevent fire hazard.
For every tree cut down, 10 indigenous long living trees are planted.
Clearcutting is outlawed as it causes massive erosion. Instead trees are cut in glades, roots removed, forest precursors and new trees planted.
REFORESTATION FOR CONSERVATION OF SOILS AND CARBON CAPTURE
Planting trees which are indigenous is done country wide, everywhere where there is sufficient rainfall to support them. Dry water is used to support the trees through initial water shortages and to be able to plant on areas away from water sources.
The planting of trees is paid for by carbon emitting companies.
It creates decentralised employment worldwide.
Certain areas left for alien vegetation for use as firewood.
Trustees of the forest appointed countrywide to plant, protect from fire and erosion and traps stands of indigenous forest for carbon sequestration.
